Police have charged a man with multiple drug offences following the execution of a search warrant in the Darling Downs yesterday, June 11.
Around 9am, officers from the Tactical Crime Squad executed a search warrant at a Wilsonton residence, where they allegedly located a large-scale cannabis production facility.
It is alleged officers located two hydroponic setups inside two bedrooms within the residence, and another two hydroponic setups installed in two caravans parked in the yard.
Officers also located large amounts of drug paraphernalia, including utensils and edible items, in addition to large quantities of dried cannabis.
A 48-year-old Wilsonton man, who was home alone at the time, was taken into custody at the scene.
He was charged with multiple drug-related offences including three counts of producing dangerous drugs, as well as one count each of offence to buy or possess S4 or S8 medicines or hazardous poisons, possessing anything for use in the commission of crime and offence to buy or possess S4 or S8 medicines or hazardous poisons.
The man is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on July 23.
